The Digital and Alternative Photography student will obtain introductory and intermediate training in alternative photography, along with photographic history while being exposed to the use and analysis of the Elements and Principles of Design. The student

will gain knowledge of the operation of digital cameras, black & white along with color photographic techniques, and alternative

and electronic darkroom techniques including the use of computer for digital editing. Students electing to take Digital and

Alternative Photography will be required to use their own digital camera. Students in this course will have homework obtaining

digital photographs to work on in class as well as work that develops their knowledge and skill in topics discussed in class. 

Course Fee: $25.00 for materials

Weekly/Daily Objectives :
Create a personalized, authentic photograph from environmental, found objects.  
Apply the Elements and Principles of Design to create symmetrical photography with a strong understanding of light and composition.
